Your website content keeps your visitors coming back for more.

Engaging Visitors should be your priority!

Website engagement is all about creating and maximising value for your visitors on the website. This would in turn increase their frequency to return to your website, instil in them a tendency to tell their friends and increase the probability of them making a purchase.

Engaging-Visitors‘Athiti Devo Bhava’ interprets as “Guest is Gods!”

Nothing is truer for your business website. All guests or Visitors are Gods. So engaging them, keeping them happy and ensuring their return makes true business sense.

Creating a “sticky” website is a well thought out approach. Improvement on the contents, usability and ‘findability’, all play a major role here.

Nothing can be truer for website than the phrase “content is the king”.  Your website content — whether it’s the copy on each page, the resources you provide, or the quality of your blog posts — is the hook that keeps your visitors coming back for more.

Unfortunately, creating quality website content can be the most time consuming aspect of developing a website and the least gratifying (in the short term). Some key aspects of an engaging website contents are:

  1. Website Contents should be updated regularly. Fresh contents always bring your visitors back. And also the Search Engines. An active website is always sought at.
  2. Website Contents should be relevant and targeted. Who would visit your website and what would he be interested in! Producing targeted content that is both timely and relevant can make all the difference.
  3. Website Contents should be relevant to your business activity and add value also prove useful to your visitors.
  4. Website Contents should be concise, straightforward and clear. No unnecessary words or sentences. Sentences should short and concise; and message should be clear.

Make your website visitor feel important.

Everybody loves to feel they are important. Your website visitors are no exception.

If your website is “read-only”, offering visitors no way to start a conversation, you run the risk of alienating people and losing their interest.

Give your visitors a way to connect with you, to know you better. You would then establish a relationship with them which would build into trust and make them stick around and become loyal fans.

Allowing visitors to leave comments on your blog posts is a great way to establish relationships. People love to think that their opinion matters, so giving them the opportunity to express themselves on your blog will make them feel like you are interested in what they have to say, which will make them feel good.

Always reply to a comment left on your site. You could then you have form a relationship with that person, and they will feel like they have a connection with you. Reply to every comment, even if it’s just to say thanks and … take care to mention them by their names.
